Here I am, the last day of my Japan 2018 trip, the end of another journey.

I have completed my online check-in and I’m ready to get some sleep before a 12-hours flight back to Italy.

At the end of this new experience, I can say that I’ve been able to see things that I did not the last time I was here; Japan has proven to be, as I already knew, a great Country, made by wonderful people.

As I wrote in one of my previous posts, I was still looking for something different, something that I might have found: confidence. Yes, I have found a new confidence within myself that I could prepare a trip like this one, alone, in the future, knowing that I would not find me in the condition of not knowing what to do, how to behave, or whatever.

Beside the experience as a tourist, I’ve been able to get some more positive feelings from this journey and that is something I’m always looking for in an holiday. I wouldn’t know how to describe those feelings, I’m not the type. However, I felt a peace I surely needed, especially after the past few weeks.

As the end of the journey is getting close, thank you Japan for what you gave me (again), and for everything else. Now it’s time to get back to Italy and share the experience with family and friends, and to look forward to my next destination, whatever the future will hold for me.
