During my 1-week holiday in Novembre 2019, I decided to go back to Japan by myself. So I equipped some self-confidence and I left for Tokyo (東京) and Kyoto (京都市).

Upon arrival, I immediately wento to the Grand Central Hotel in Tokyo (東京) in the Kanda Tsukasamachi (神田司町) area of the city; from there I could not dedicate the first afternoon to pay my respects to the tombs of the famouse Ronin knights at the Sengakuji Temple (泉岳寺). Eventually I ended up eating in the Mouko Tanmen Nakamoto (蒙古タンメン中本 渋谷店) Ramen restaurant in Shibuya City (渋谷区).

Since I always believe that ramen is never enough, the next day I went to the Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum (新横浜ラーメン博物館); I visit this place every time I go to Japan, I like spending an hour or two eating its ramens and appreciating the interior design the managers of the museum decided to apply.

On October 30, 2019 I left Tokyo (東京) bound for Kyoto (京都市). At first I was not sure about this decision to leave the city, then I realized I was thinking not as a Japanese. In Japan the public transit system is very efficient and thanks to the Shinkansen (新幹線) “bullet” trains it is very easy to move between those two cities in the Country. So I packed my lunch and went to the former capital where I was able to visit the Kiyomizu-dera (音羽山清水寺) temple, one of my favorite in Japan.

Once I got back to Tokyo (東京), I decided to do something easy so I dedicated myself to visit the Ueno Zoo (上野動物園). The last days I visited Kamakura (鎌倉市) and decided to take a walk among a country landscape. Then, one day before leaving for home, I was able to meet with a couple of friends that took me out for dinner and with which I spent a terrific evening.
